About the Department

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was started in the year 1970. The department was accredited by NBA The Department has well qualified high experienced dedicated Teaching & Non-Teaching staff. The department is imparting quality engineering education to the students through the well-established infrastructure and Laboratories. The department has been recognized as Research centre and offers Ph. D and MSc (Engineering) programmes under VTU.

ELECTRONICS LABORATORY

Electronics Laboratory is fully equipped to conduct all types of experiments of Analog Electronics lab, Digital Electronics lab, Design and Testing lab. This laboratory is self sufficient and fully equipped to meet the laboratory needs as per the curriculum. This laboratory also provides the facility to conduct the experiments of Power Electronics.

ADVANCED COMMUNICATION LABORATORY

This laboratory is equipped with necessary and sufficient equipments to conduct communication experiments and to do projects in the field of Microwave Communication, Optical Fiber Communication, Digital Communication, Radar and Satellite.

MICROPROCESSOR, MICROCONTROLLER AND CCN LABORATORIES

This laboratory is equipped with Computers, Microprocessors and Microcontroller Kits, LAN trainer Kits and Cryptography & Networking kits, for conduction of various software and hardware experiments of Microprocessor, Microcontroller and CCN Laboratories.

HDL, VLSI AND DSP LABORATORIES

This laboratory is equipped with Computers, FPGA/CPLD kits, DSP Kits, MATLAB and Xilinx Software to conduct various Experiments of HDL, VLSI and DSP Labs.

PG & RESEARCH LABORATORY

The Laboratory is used to carry out UG and PG projects based on Micro Controller, Communication, Signal Processing, Speech and Image Processing, Neural Networks , VLSI and Networking. This Lab has LCD Projector, Advanced Computing facility with Internet.
